So many of us think that connecting with spirit, giving readings and energy work is a gift....well I am going to share a secret with you....... those of us that do it are not special, we are just able to shut our ego out better.
Where to start with this post.... well first off I will say EVERY single person in this world is able to connect with spirit, intuition, universe, god whatever you want to call it. I will share a bit of my journey with everyone.
This didn't happen overnight, I didn't wake up one day and was able to give people tarot and intuitive readings.
It has occurred to me maybe this is why this isn't a recognized art, you cant go to college or university to become a better tarot reader. But let me tell you this school of spirit I went to is way more powerful then any college.
This has been a journey of self discovery, a journey to shut out that ego voice that has been so ingrained into us since childhood. This is a better understanding and trust in ourselves to serve as a vessel to help other bring awareness to things they already know. You might go for a reading, but deep down in your soul you already know the answers you are seeking. We humans seek validation in this lifetime, wanting someone to agree with us, someone to connect with us and help us hear the messages better.
From my understanding is when we are stuck in trauma our ego voice is way louder then our own intuition casting doubt and trying to confuse us. The pain of the situation takes over the reins and steers us into this trauma brain where we are stuck in a fog of our own egos.
Now when I say ego I want to clarify what I mean. Ego is that voice that steers us away from our gut feeling, steers us into doubt. Everyone has those gut feelings ( intuition) or what I call talking with spirit, but how you navigate is where this earth intuitive schooling comes in. This takes years of learning, growing and trusting yourself to shut your ego the F up.
Once you get a handle on life experiences with your intuition leading the way you can conquer anything.
But it isn't that easy as even the most experienced readers face their little ego trying to sneak back in and say " but are you suuuuuure"
So my advice, when you get you first tarot or oracle deck, throw out the book that comes with it. Sit and look at the cards and pictures as ask yourself what each means to you and trust the first things you hear, don't question as that is ego speaking.
Some of the best intuitive readers are ones that have no idea what is going on but a strong sense of self confidence and the ability to trust themselves.
Remember ego is loud, intuition is subtle, ego creates confusion, intuition is an absolute knowing without a doubt.
When you are ready spirit will lead you to the places and people who will help you on your journey. This is the real gift, trusting yourself and the process and letting go of control. Watch, wait with patience and like magic the path will unfold in front of you, most of all TRUST yourself and what you hear the first time.
Intuitive knowledge truly comes from life experiences....no rushing this process, trust, trust, trust. Your higher self will not lead you into anything you are not ment to experience.
Hope that helps, Love and light from a fayerie
